Western Cape North, Nova Scotia

On Tuesday we left Cape North (Dingwall) and headed around the upper coast of Cape Breton on the northwest side. You can see Peasant Bay just before the National Park (in yellow).

It was a beautiful day and we got several good pictures of scenery along the way.

We went in and out of the park twice and each time we had to climb up into the mountains with 13% grades that were 3 miles long. There was alot of sharp turns and slow moving. I was concerned about the truck but it was strong the entire way.

We arrived in North Glasgow, Nova Scotia later in the afternoon (about 210 miles) which is where you can catch the ferry over to Prince Edward Island.
