OOPS!! Here it is June 8th and I forgot to post this one from back in March!!
Wednesday we drove down to Palo Duro Canyon, about 30 miles south of Amarillo. We checked into the visitor center and got a map of the park.
Downhill grade of 10% for two miles into the canyon!
There are campgrounds at the bottom and they even have electric and water. We did not know that or we might have stayed here.
We took a couple of pictures from the top.
From there on, we took pictures.
Looks like a lighthouse (but isn't - just a rock formation).

A great place to visit. Hopefully, some day we will come back and camp in the Canyon!
