Henry Horton State Park, Chapel Hill, TN

When we visit Belinda and Bailey, we usually stay at this park because it is so unique.  We have electric and water, but the most important thing is the site itself.
We usually call the CG early to get what we consider the best site in the park - Site14!

Drove into Franklin on Thursday evening, had dinner with Belinda, got caught up on everything and then came back to the CG for the night.

Belinda and Bailey came down to camp with us for the weekend.

Bailey loves this site because of all the exploring that she can do.

Judy had purchased some water balloons - hook them up to a hose and fill the balloons with water.  The box contained 3 hose connections with 40 balloons attached to each connection.

As they filled up, they fell off into the bucket.

From there, it became a balloon tossing match!!

This was the second of 3 balloons to be filled with water.

We'll let you guess who got the wettest!!

One of the crafts Bailey did was to put leaves, letters, etc on a special paper and cover it with a plastic glass.  The sun would transfer the items on to the paper.

We also had a watermelon to carve out.

Then we tried to puree it with the mixer.

Poured the juice back into the watermelon.

And used the 'spigot' to get some drinks.  It worked fairly well, but it did need to be pureed.

We did actually relax during the weekend, but the ladies also worked on tie-dying a couple of shirts.

Once dyed, they had to be rolled up in saran wrap overnight.  The next day they were hung out to dry.  Unfortunately, they weren't dry when we left, so Belinda took them home with her.

Bailey did some work at the table.  Found out later that it was a Father's Day card for me.

Final picture of Bailey in her element.
