On The Way to Nashville, TN (Day 2)

Day 2 – Wednesday, June 1^st.

Left Marshall around 9 AM – long day today – 355 miles to Meridian, MS.  Terrible roads thru Shreveport and much of LA.  Mississippi was somewhat better.  Heavy truck traffic on I-20.

Scenery along the way was good.

Traffic stopped about 15 miles from Meridian.  We crawled some, stopped some, shut off the engine a couple of times, and, about an hour later, the jam cleared up.  We think they were paving the road and had everything stopped.  Anyway, we got to our CG around 4, got set up and had an uneventful evening.
