Toad River, British Columbia

We left Ft. Nelson this morning around 10 AM.  Not in any hurry today since we are only going about 110 miles to Toad River.

As we were leaving the city limits, there were a couple of signs along the road.  The first one is flashing and has a picture of an elk on it.  The next one is a digital sign that informs us that bison are on the road around Muncho Lake.  As I am wondering why they are telling us about bison some 150 miles up the road, there is an elk right there along side the road - not a large one but had some antlers. And we were so surpised, we missed it!

But before we got very far, we saw this guy in the ditch:

And then these two:

Just can't get enough of the snow in the mountains:

Finally made it to Toad River and the RV Camp.  This is the sign for our site:

This is the view from our camp site.  We are in the same site that we were in back in 2011.

Picture out our dining room window.  Beautiful day but windy, and, coming off the lake, it was cold.  We sat outside for awhile beside the trailer, but soon it became too cold.

All in all, it was a great day - got to see a lot of wildlife.
