Delaware

We left Selma on Wednesday and drove to Laurel, DE to spend a couple of nights before taking the ferry over to Cape May, NJ on Friday.
This trip included making our way over to Norfolk, VA to take the Chesapeeke Bay Bridge and Tunnel.  Cost $22 for us.  There were 2 tunnels and 3 bridges.  We did this back in 2012 and enjoyed it so thought we would do it again.  The ferry over to NJ will be $94 for a total of $116.
The alternative is to take I95 thru Washington, DC and around Philadelphia and we would probably spend about much in diesel so we thought this was a better option.

We stayed at Trap Pond State Park near Laurel, DE. for a couple of nights.  Nice campground.  We stayed here back in 2012 as well.

Trap Pond Lake.

Next stop:  New Jersey
