Superstition Mountain

On Sunday, February 28th, we went to church at Victory Lutheran in Mesa.  Went to the 9:30 traditional service.  We got there about 15 minutes early but it was almost full.  Got some seats in the back by the choir.  Probably 500-600 people there.  Nice service.
At noon we went over to Gary and Shirl’s park model home for dinner.  Several friends of theirs were there as well.  Had a nice meal and conversation.

Later in the day we went with Ray and Karen on a tour to Superstition Mountain.

The road was very curvy and slow to drive but the scenery was fabulous.

Canyon Lake was about 2/3 of the way up.  Beautiful area.

We drove to the end of the paved road and then a couple of miles further to get to a lookout point.

On the way back we stopped at the restaurant and had a nice dinner.

Interesting bar stools.

We all had to use the bathrooms!

It was dark by the time we got back to Mesa.
