Sorry, for the delay, but it is now Friday, September 30th, and we are in Casselton, ND, which is about 15 miles west of Fargo.
On Monday, the 19th, we left Terrace, BC with our new spring and tire. We decided that we wanted to make up some time so we drove over 300 miles to Vanderhoof, BC and spent the night. We felt like we had driven back into civilization again.
Lots of land being worked here.
Lots of land being worked here.
Here was our campground just outside Vanderhoof.
Check out this checker board.
And putt-putt course.
And beautiful flowers.
The next day we drove another 300+ miles to Jasper, AB and spent the night there. Before we got to Jasper, we crossed the border from BC into AB and there were the Canadian Mountain Rockies. What an impressive sight.
We passed Jasper and continued east to our campground for the night. Check out the view of the mountains the following morning.
The same mountains a few minutes later (without the benefit of the sun).
Next, our trip south to Calgary.
