Concord, NH

Finally have good WIFI so will start updating the Blog:

Arrived in Chichester, NH on Monday, June 27th, where our friends, Ray and Karen Cowan, are for the summer.  They grew up in NH and retired here.  Sold their home and are full-timers like we are.  They go to Phoenix/Mesa for the winter, and, we visited with them back in March when were there.

Tuesday we relaxed after our long trip the previous week all the way from Florida, with some stops along the way.  Wednesday we drove into Concord, NH, the capital and toured the Capital Building and the Museum. The legislature was not in session at the time but we did get to see where the 400 (yes, 400) representatives convene.   There is approximately 1 representative for every 1300 people.  We took many pictures but something happened to the camera and all were lost.  Here is a picture from a brochure of Main Street’s restored historic buildings in downtown Concord and the Capital Building in the background.

We spend the remainder of the day planning our trip with them.
