Nebraska

Arrived in Elkhorn (Omaha), NE today, Monday, August 1st where my sister, Judeen, her husband, Jim, and daughters, Alison (Eric), and Katie (Tim) and daughter, Aliza live.
We found our campground - Two Rivers Recreation Area on the West side of Elkhorn.  Nice site.

We drove into Omaha and met them all for dinner at the local Mexican restaurant.  Aliza had colors so she was all smiles.

The restaurant has several wall paintings that Aliza likes so Judy took pictures.

The next afternoon Judeen, Katie, Aliza, and a cousin of Aliza's came out to swim at the campground.  Real nice beach.

Aliza loved the water and the sand and was upset when it was time to leave.

In the evening they all came back and we had a cookout.

Katie, Tim, and Aliza.

Alison, Eric, and, of course, Aliza!!

At the campground they have cabooses that you can stay in.  Apparently, they are quite roomy!

On our way to dinner on Wednesday to meet up with Judeen and Jim, we were slowed down by farmers hauling bales of hay (usual occurrence in the Midwest).

Picked Judeen and Jim up and went to a local barbeque restaurant in Elkhorn.

Excellent food.  Will have to stop there again.

Judeen and Jim:

It was fun to spend extra time with the family this time.  Usually we don't get to be with them for very long.

The next day we left for Pipesone, MN.
