The next day
we left the CG in Massachusetts and drove over to Bristol, CT. to a CG next to the Lake Compounce
Amusement Park. Tried to use GPS but it
was wrong so it took awhile to find it.
Once we did, we got a nice site.
This campground has many types of "camping" opportunities.
In a site next to us was a nice sized tree and a robin who must have had babies in a nest in the tree because she was there every day, and, we could see her take food up into the tree.
Larry is working only about 20 minutes away so he came over for supper. On Tuesday we drove over to the Polo Grounds to see what he is working on.

A stage
purchased for Dream Ride and other events.
Larry and 3 others were learning how to put the stage up and take it down. They each had to be in charge of putting it up and taking it down so that they could be certified. As of Friday we learned that they all had passed.

Starting on Sunday they worked on another stage, only this one is a two-level stage. Same process - they each have to be in charge of putting it up and taking it down so that they can again be certified on this one.
Near the camp/amusement park entrance was this huge business/headquarters for ESPN. Turns out this is where Jeff Collette worked before being transferred to California.
Had a nice time over 3 days with Larry, but on Friday it was time to leave and head back West.
