We left Tower on Sunday and drove all of 85 miles or so to Two Harbors, MN which is about 30 miles north of Duluth.
Along the way we stopped for gas and saw this mural on a building nearby.
Beautiful drive.
Our first view of Lake Superior.
Got on Highway 61 which heads south along the coastline. This highway will become I-35 in Duluth which goes all the way to Laredo, TX, about 1550 miles.
Drove thru a couple of tunnels.
Found our campground in Two Harbors.
We had a back-in site on the lower level of the CG.

On Monday drove to the nearest Walmart to refill some prescriptions. The closest store was in Duluth and was on the West side of town so it was about 40 miles away. Heading toward Duluth - barely visible out over the lake.
On the way back from Walmart we had this view. The bridge you see goes over to Superior, WI.
This ship was in the lake.
They are still shipping ore out of these ports. More later...
