On Wednesday, the 17th, we did some exploring near the campground. On our way over to this point sticking out into the water, we saw a mushroom.
This area is popular for people (mostly kids) to jump into the water. We watched several kids jumping. There was a 5-6 year old boy jumping while his Mom was watching. She wanted to leave but he wanted her to jump. And she finally did. Later her mother was there watching, and, she mentioned to us that she had jumped some 40 years ago. Well, before long, her daughter and grandson got her to jump too!!
Here I was watching a school of about 9 fish swimming by. Not sure but they looked like walleye.

Kayaking is also very popular.
Apparently I got caught daydreaming.
This bench was great. After being out here for awhile, it cooled down and this bench was warm from the sun.

Later that day we had our first 'Happy Hour.'
There are 18 Hitchhiker trailers and 35 people here.
And then, sunset.
Tomorrow will be another good day!
