We left Tenstrike on Friday and drove to Tower, MN for the weekend. We wanted to go directly to Two Harbors but the CG there was full on Friday and Saturday so we had to find another CG for the weekend.
It was only about 150 miles but some of the road was rough so we kept our speed down. We traveled thru the George Washington State Forest for much of the way.
The Tower CG is located on Lake Vermillion, a very popular place for boating, fishing, etc. This was our CG.
We had a nice site.
Not much to report here but we did enjoy the weekend here before leaving on Sunday morning for Two Harbors.
